The Bic Lighter Story

A simple little colorful red bic lighter has the power to bring out so many different emotions in oneself. Here's my experiences with one particular bic lighter. One day I was minding my own business at work when I found a red bic lighter on the floor, which made me happy. It was almost as though that little plastic lighter was calling my name, and drawing me towards it with a spell of some kind. I later went clean my new lighter up some, but I couldn't find it, which made me sad. Two hours later I spotted the red bic lighter again, so I snatched it up, and I was happy once again. I cleaned it up real good with some cleaning solution, and a paper towel. Then came the big moment, and when I went to flick my bic, but it didn't light. A spark came out, but no flame or fire. Which is why it was most likely tossed to the side to begin with. I tried for some time flicking that bic, but it never would light, and then I was mad. I threw it out into the middle of the street where a car eventually ran over it, and the bic lighter blew up. After hearing that small firecracker like noise, I was once again a very happy person. Before this magical day the only emotion I ever knew from a bic lighter was that of disappointment from an old bic lighter that wouldn't work when you needed it the most. This makes one wonder if the same bic lighter put others through this same vicious emotional cycle, before it met it's own unfortunate demise. That little red plastic bic lighter changed my life forever, and besides I needed something to write about for another hub anyway :-)
