The Peep Show Cake

Birthdays are a right of passage for all people, and everybody on this earth has one each year of their life. This is something that we all have in common. We don't remember the day we were born, but our parents and grandparents certainly do. Shortly after that we hit the terrible two's, which none of us remember either. As children we all look forward to our birthday, which a lot of times comes with presents and parties. We start feeling older when we hit the double digits, 10 and up, also which is sometimes called the tween years. Then there's the rebellious teenage years. When we hit 16 we can't wait to get behind the wheel of a car and start driving. We technically enter adulthood, and we can start voting when we're 18. We can start legally drinking when we're 21 years old. At 25 we're a quarter of a century old, and birthdays start to mean less and less to us. When we hit 50 or half a century old, most of us would rather not have any more birthdays.

Birthdays start getting rather interesting once again when a person hits the magic age of 100, or a century old. My Uncle Charlie made it to this rare milestone. He was born in 1885, and he passed away in 1986. He lived through both world wars. When he was only 19, he lost an arm in an industrial accident. The doctors said at that time he wouldn't live much longer, but he outlived them all, and laughed about it. He was married for 50 years when his wife passed away. He then lived alone by himself in a massive three story house until he was 100 years of age. The one thing that I remember my Uncle Charlie saying that he was amazed at, wasn't the time when a man walked on the moon, but rather the day that street cars replaced the horse drawn carriages. Today the street cars have gone away as well, and have been replaced by buses and subway trains.

There was a time I wished I'd be 100 years old like my Uncle Charlie, however I'm to the point now where I really don't care or want to be reminded of anymore birthdays. On the 12th, I had another birthday. That's all of the information I'm going to hand out about my birthday. I got a birthday card from Marlboro cigarettes. They may be trying to kill me with their cigarettes, but they still wish me a happy birthday every year. I guess Marlboro is also glad to see that I'm alive so that I'll keep buying their brand of cigarettes. I got a watch, and I guess that's so I won't have an excuse for being late anymore. Then I got a birthday cake from my daughter like none I've ever seen before, and that is why I'm writing this hub. Pictured below are three different angles of this beautiful birthday cake. Along with the cake came a theme and a name. That's why I decided to call this hub the "Mystery Cake". I've watched all kinds of cooking shows on television, and I've never seen a cake like this one before.

After seeing this birthday cake now, what do you think the name might be that it's been given? Try not to over think this question, and look at what is happening on the cake.
